SRINAGAR - SONMARG - SRINAGAR

Today we start our journey to Sonmarg from Srinagar and it will take approximately 2 to 3 hours to reach. Sonmarg is a hill station and absolutely a safe place to visit with families. Places to see in Sonmarg mentioned.

Thajiwas Glacier: This glacier is stationed height of 9,186 feet at the less distance Sonmarg in Jammu and Kashmir, is gigantic and auspicious with This place is full of never seen beauty of Thajivas mountain and full of grassy fields, coniferous trees and frozen lakes, whose beauty you will never forget. Tourists can enjoy blown sights, making a snowman, and enjoying extending rides

SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM

Distance from Srinagar to Pahalgam is 88 kilometers and it will take approx 2 and half hours to reach via private transport. In this journey, we will stay in Pahalgam's famous hotel Heevan which provides several services for their customers.

Abundance: On the earth, Kashmir is surrounded by snow-clad mountains and the shining lakes make it a picturesque land. Due to the several picturesque lands, this state is coming under the top 5 most visiting places in India. Another name of this state is India’s Switzerland.

Camping: There are lots of places to do camping in Kashmir. Some short camping while journeying to Pahalgam. A trip to the nearby Tarsar and Mangar Lake in Upper Dachigam and then the best time to camp Liddarwat, Sheshnag, Panchtarani, and Baltal. You can camp on short trips and also get some trekking experience that allows tourists to reveal many unseen areas.

River Rafting: River rafting in Pahalgam is mostly done in the Lidder River and the Indus River and if you want to climb the Lidder River then you have three ways for river rafting where first way is the Lidder joyride whose length is 5 Km, second is Lidder long ride whose length is 5 Km and third is white water rafting extra long ride whose length is 8 Km.

PAHALGAM -SRINAGAR

After taking rest in night in Pahalgam's hotel Heevan, next day we start our trip by visiting most famous Shankaracharya Temple.

Seek Blessings At Shankaracharya Temple: This temple is situated at the edge of Dal Lake Shankaracharya Shiva Temple. The most famous festival celebrated in this temple is Bhavya on Shivratri. This temple is decorated with flowers that look very beautiful and the Panditji of the temple performs special worship. Apart from the historical Shiva temple, the Hanuman temple in Srinagar is decorated with the Ganapati temple along with all other temples nearby.

Shop at Local Market: There are lots of local shopping markets in Srinagar, Kashmir. From apparel to home décor, it fulfills all the needs of every person. If you want to shop in Srinagar, then you can visit some of the famous marketplaces are Pashminas, Kashmiri Tea, Copper Utensils, Products, Carpets, Walnut Wood Products, Papier Mache Products, Spices, Dry Fruits, Lal Chowk, Polo View, Badshah Chowk, etc.

SRINAGAR - GULMARG

On day 5th we will go to Gulmarg from Srinagar, the distance between Srinagar to Gulmarg is 49.5 km, we would reach Gulmarg in approx 1-2 hours.

Take a Ride on Gulmarg Gondola: Gulmarg Gondola is one of the world’s skyscraping operating cable cars. It is a ropeway project Gulmarg Gondola jointly launched by the French organization Pomagalsk and the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. This whole ride involves two stages, the first ride is 9 min from Gulmarg to Kongdoori, and the second ride is 12 minutes from Dushra to Kongduri and then to the peak.

Seek the Blessings of Baba Reshi Shrine: It was the pilgrimage of Baba Reshi, located about 6 km away from the famous tourist town of Gulmarg. This temple is very popular and their Langar( free meal for the people) is very delicious and completely hygienic. This shrine is inside a minaret with gorgeous carvings. Women need to cover their heads as part of reverence of the shrine's discipline.

Find Peace at St. Mary’s Church: The church is located near the golf club right at the midpoint of the Gulmarg meadows. In the month of June. this church was full of beautiful lupine flowers. The church itself is not much grand from the inside but the exterior architecture is good. An ideal place to take some pictures with your loving ones. However, nothing very special yet peaceful and calm surrounded by greeny lands and nature.

Spend a day at Alpather Lake: Alpather Lake is a pretty and little lake at the foot of twin drift peaks; At an altitude of 4,390 meters. This lake is also known as "Frozen Lake" by their locals. This lake is the major reason for tourist attractions in this small town Gulmarg. This lake is surrounded by rocky mountains and lush grasslands that are covered with graceful wildflowers.
